Expertise
Sharon M. Petrillo joined our business firm in Boston in 2001. She assists clients in all facets of real estate property matters including representation of developers, lenders, buyers, and sellers involving real estate transactions, zoning and permitting, condominium law, real estate litigation as well as general civil litigation. Ms. Petrillo also represents various local lenders in commercial transactions. She has represented clients in all levels of the Massachusetts Trial Court, the Massachusetts Land Court as well as before various zoning and permitting boards. She has significant experience in drafting and enforcing contracts and the formation of various legal entities such as limited liability companies, corporations, and trusts.
Associations
Ms. Petrillo is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and serves on the Board of Directors of a local, independent, private school. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
Community
Ms. Petrillo was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts and now lives with her family in Melrose, Massachusetts. She has participated as a volunteer Attorney for the Massachusetts Bar Association's monthly “Dial-A-Lawyer” program and has also provided legal advice to local callers for the WBZ radio program “A Call for Action.”
Education
Ms. Petrillo graduated from the University of Massachusetts earning a B.A. in English, and is a 2000 graduate of Suffolk University Law School.
Sharon M. Petrillo is a former Judicial Law Clerk for the Massachusetts Land Court. She is pictured here with the Judge for whom she clerked, the Honorable Leon J. Lombardi, prior to his retirement in the summer of 2008, along with other former law clerks who served Justice Lombardi during his distinguished 13 year tenure on the bench in the Land Court.
