Sharon Petrillo Areas of Experience
Sharon M. Petrillo joined the firm in 2001. Ms. Petrillo assists the firm’s clients in all facets of real property matters including representation of developers, lenders, buyers, and sellers involving real estate transactions, zoning and permitting, condominium law, real estate litigation as well as general civil litigation. Ms. Petrillo also represents various local lenders in commercial transactions. Ms. Petrillo has represented clients in all levels of the Massachusetts Trial Court, the Massachusetts Land Court as well as before various zoning and permitting boards. She also has significant experience in drafting and enforcing contracts and the formation of various legal entities such as limited liability companies, corporations, and trusts. Ms. Petrillo is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association for which she has participated as a volunteer Attorney for its monthly “Dial-A-Lawyer” program and has also provided legal advice to local callers for WBZ radio program “A Call for Action.” She also serves on the Board of Directors of a local, independent, private school. Ms. Petrillo was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts and now lives with her family in Melrose, Massachusetts. Ms. Petrillo graduated from the University of Massachusetts earning a B.A. in English, and is a 2000 graduate of Suffolk University Law School. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Petrillo served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Justice Leon J. Lombardi in the Massachusetts Land Court. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
